Snow King Resort
 If you’re looking for a vacation destination packed with great family fun, check out Snow King Resort, just 12 miles from the better-known slopes on Jackson Hole Mountain, WY.
Snow King caters to families, with the resort offering comprehensive “Ski Free” packages that include lodging at the 204-room hotel, lift tickets and breakfast for just $55 per adult. Kids under 13 stay for free with two adults in the room. In addition to traditional rooms, the hotel offers 13 suites and more than 50 condominiums, giving your family a wide range of accommodation choices.
 There are only two restaurants on the hotel property, but it’s just a short walk to historic Jackson, with its distinctive restaurants, art galleries and quaint shops that offer a delightful after dinner walk for adults.
For the most unusual meal of your trip, make a reservation at the Solitude Cabin. For $66 per adult, $36 per child under 10, you’ll be treated to a horse-drawn sleigh ride up the mountain to an intimate cabin in the woods that excels in hearty fine dining complemented by a robust wine list and a full bar.
 Jackson is the county seat of Teton County, and the area known as “Jackson Hole” is a 50-mile-long valley surrounded by scenic, and exceptionally ski-able, mountains. The town itself has a population of about 8,500, which lends to its characteristic mid-west charm just about any time of year.
But winter ski season, from December through April, is when the population in this municipality swells with visitors from all over the world. The nearby ski slopes on Snow King Mountain are definitely kid-friendly, with three chairlifts and a rope tow. Activities include night skiing, tubing, snowshoeing, and a skating rink. The resort is home to the King Tubes snow tube park.

And if you want to tackle the “big double diamonds,” the famed Jackson Hole Mountain is 12 miles away. There you can ride the famed Jackson Hole Tram to the top of the 10,450-foot mountain and enjoy some of the most beautiful vistas big sky country has to offer.
The Jackson Hole Airport (JAC) is a convenient ten miles away and complementary shuttle service is also provided for Snow King Resort guests.
