The Skytop Lodge
Combine a stay at an historic luxury lodge with outdoor winter fun, and you have a vacation at the Skytop Lodge in Skytop, Pa. Serenely situated on a 5,500-acre mountain estate, the Lodge is the centerpiece of this all-inclusive resort, offering 125 guest rooms and suites with modern amenities and the charm of an English country manor.
The resort’s Inn offers an additional 20 rooms, each equipped with its own fireplace and private balcony, while the resort’s cottages offer two queen- or king-sized rooms connecting to two twin rooms, making them ideal for families.
The Skytop Lodge is a quick 12-mile drive from the Pocono Mountains Airport (KMPO), and the resort will provide shuttle service with advance notice.

The resort offers winter skiing geared toward novice and intermediate skiers, with four wide trails and two lifts. Because of its location, the resort’s ski trails are rarely crowded, offering families a great place to get together for some winter fun and excitement. There are also several cross-country trails for those who prefer to ski on more level ground.
After a day on the slopes, you can enjoy a swim in the resort’s indoor pool, or head for the spa, where you can enjoy Swedish, deep tissue, neuromuscular and sports massage therapies provided by certified massage professionals in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
The spa also offers facials, wraps, manicures and pedicures. All accommodations at the resort include three meals daily, so there’s never a question of where to eat. The only challenge is deciding what to eat at one of the resort’s three excellent restaurants.
The main lodge features the elegant Windsor Dining Room, which offers specialties like a chicken breast Portofino with mustard, capers and sun-dried tomatoes, or a rock lobster risotto with oyster and shiitake mushrooms.

There is also the Lakeview Restaurant, which offers a stunning view of Skytop Lake, and a selection of savory steaks or specialties like seared duck breast with nectarines and blueberries.
The tap room, modeled after an authentic English pub, rounds out the dining choices, complementing a typical pub menu with a choice of more than 40 different single-malt scotches or one of more than 60 different beers from all over the world.
Skytop Lodge offers a relaxing, intimate atmosphere, and one that is ideally suited for a weekend getaway or a week-long vacation.
