This tiny flight light has three small, green LED lamps that mount on the headset’s microphone boom. Because it’s mounted to the microphone, the light will shine wherever the pilot is looking without any hand adjustment. Because it’s a green light, it will preserve night vision and not wash out the color on VFR charts, as a red light is prone to do. The unit uses two AA batteries housed in a small pouch that can be clipped onto your waist or placed in a shirt pocket. The light can be added and removed from the headset in minutes.
