If you want a little more action, you may have a hard time deciding what to do here. Boating, fishing, surfing, horseback riding, golf, and exploring the sand dunes on an ATV are among your many choices. And if you enjoy nightlife, you'll have even more decisions to make. Do you prefer wild and outrageous or refined and cultured? Rosarito has it all.

A popular tourist destination is located three miles south of the resort. Fox Studios Baja, situated on 45 acres overlooking the Pacific, was built in 1996 for the filming of James Cameron's "Titanic." Water-oriented movies are the specialty here, with eight filmed to date. Also, there's Foxploration, a one-of-a-kind movie park with interactive exhibits and attractions. If you're a movie fan, this is the place to learn the secrets and magic of movie making.

Some of Baja's best dining is found right at the resort. The Azteca serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner overlooking the 100-foot-long swimming pool. Chabert's offers gourmet dining in an elegant mansion that was once the home of the hotel's founder. The Puerto Nuevo style lobster is a Baja favorite. Be sure to leave room for their signature dessert, Chabert's Supreme.

On Fridays and Saturdays, enjoy traditional folkloric dancing, mariachi bands and a Mexican buffet at the El Sarape Bar. Later in the evening, the mariachis are replaced with disco for the over-21 crowd. If karaoke is your thing, you'll enjoy the hotel's Rosa and Rita Bar. Recoup the next day under the warm Mexican sun. Sip a Coco Loco at the Beach Comber while keeping an eye on the surf and passing dolphins.

Now, isn't this better than shoveling snow?
