'Tis The Season For Giving
Ah, the spirit of the holiday season is upon us. And to celebrate, we’d like to play Santa a little and kick off the season with a few gifts.
To David and Laura Glasscock of Charlotte, North Carolina, we give a two-night, VIP “Stay and Play” package at the Jekyll Island Hotel on Jekyll Island off the coast of Georgia.
To Marjorie Wells, of Desert Aire, WA, we give a his and hers set of Telex Stratus 50-D Aviation Headsets with digital active noise reduction and patented Comfort Cam technology.
To Gene Gaynor, of Palmdale, CA, we give a SkyOx portable Oxygen System from SkyOx, the leader in aircraft oxygen systems.
And you, our beloved readers, we will devote another year writing about great travel destinations and providing useful information to make your general aviation travel safer, more convenient and more fun.
Why are we being so generous?
You might remember that we’ve been talking about our online reader survey, and how we wanted you to tell us what you’d like to see in the pages of this magazine. The folks mentioned above participated in the survey and were randomly selected to receive prizes from our generous sponsors.
The results of the survey are still being compiled, but even an early reading has given us insight into how we are doing and what you’d like to see more ofor less ofin the new year. Universally, our readers love the publication and many requested more airport and transportation information on the destinations we write about.
We’re looking forward to 2006, our fourth year of publication, and one which we hope will continue the evolving growth of this magazine brand. To those of you who have supported us during our first three yearsboth readers and advertisersa word of thanks. And a promise to continue our efforts as the only magazine focused on ways you can use your airplane to travel and enjoy life!
