Stand Up And Be Counted
Every issue we face the same tough question: How do we best meet your needs by giving you information you’re interested in.

Sure, no two readers are alike. But our audience shares certain common likes and dislikes, including the singularly-unique feature of traveling by general aviation airplane. Beyond that, we make decisions each month about what we think you want to see in the pages of this magazine.

Part of our readership includes empty-nesters who enjoy hours together in an airplane, while another part includes families with children that may not always be patient enough to sit still for a three-hour leg. It’s such a wide mix of needs and personalities, that we are constantly trying to broaden and expand our coverage to make sure we consistently meet your expectations.

To that end, we sift through destinations that range from $1,600-per-night hotel suites to $15-per-day camping trips. We write about products designed for children who might want to grow up to fly, and products designed for the true, GA die-hard. We write about real-life issues like traveling with pets and children, or using your airplane to travel on business.

This issue, for example, we cover Palm Springs and Montréal as featured destinations, and six destinations in the south that you can visit to round out your trip to Sun ‘n Fun. We also tackle the concept of living with your airplane in an aviation community, and explore what makes Diamond’s DA42 Twin Star an ideal cross-country machine.

All that is packed into just one issue.

Reader Survey As we embark on our second year of publication, we’d like you to tell us more about who you are and what you want to see in the pages of this magazine—your magazine.

We’re conducting an online survey on our web site so you can go and fill out information about yourself and the types of stories you’d like to see in future issues of Aviator’s Guide. In exchange for this information, we’ll enter you in a raffle to win a Vertex Standard VXA-700 hand-held transceiver from the folks at All Points Distributing Inc.

Sign up online now at www.aviatorsguide.com/survey/.

We’ll learn how to better serve you, and you’ll get a chance to win one of neatest aviation tools currently on the market. That’s a win for everyone!
