The beautiful Centennial Edition Cirrus SR22 on this months cover belongs to Myron Garfinkle, of Norwalk, CT, who made a detour on a trip bringing his son Matthew home from Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY, to pose for our cover shot. He took delivery of the Centennial edition after owning another SR22 for two years. Myron tours the country with his wife and two sons in the SR22. The familys favorite trip to date was from Las Vegas to Marthas Vineyard. We basically decided every day where we wanted to go, Myron said. It was really, really cool.
We are pleased to welcome Tom Ward as our new West Coast sales representative. Tom earned his pilots license as a teenager, and has flown a number of different GA aircraft over the years. Hes been accepted to the prestigious American Press Institute. When Tom is not busy flying or helping our advertisers develop innovative marketing solutions, he is teaching the Tiger Clubs about flying. He also enjoys hiking, fast cars, and spending time at his familys ranch in the Sierra Nevada Foothills.
