Chief Pilot Sam Carmelli went to great lengths on this months cover photo. He not only secured this beautiful Beech Dutchess for use in the shoot, he also found the perfect location at Republic Airport in Farmingdale, NY. Special thanks go to Summit Jet for loaning us the airplane, and to Northeastern Aviation, for providing a helpful line crew and location for the shoot. Just more proof that the right ground crew can make or break your trip. Sam has been flying for 31 years and has accumulated 8,000 hours in the air. He holds a CFII, SEL, MEL and ATP ratings, and also plays a mean classical guitar.
