Judy Betz has been in love with aviation communities since she began flying more than 20 years ago. She finds the camaraderie among those with shared interests as important as the convenience. She is a Florida-based freelance writer who writes a weekly aviation column for the Ocala Star-Banner. Judie has co-authored two guidebooks on residential airparks, one covering the East Coast and one for the southwestern states from California to Texas. She is currently completing the research for Aviation Communities of Florida.
Carrie Miner, shown here modeling for an Australian motorcycle ad, is a Glendale, AZ-based writer whose work has appeared in Arizona Highways, Hemispheres, Brides, and many other national publications. She is a member of the Society of American Travel Writers, and has authored a book entitled, Fun With the Family in Arizona by Globe-Pequot Press.
We are pleased as punch to announce that Kay OShaughnessy has joined Aviators Guide as our representative in the southeast. Kay began her professional life as an English teacher in Norfolk, Virginia, but quickly realized her true calling was in sales, where she has spent the last 20 years. Many of you may already know Kay from her most recent tenure as national accounts manager for Aero Trader. When shes not helping advertisers get the maximum value from their ad dollar, Kay enjoys singing in her church choir, gardening, and playing an extremely competitive game of tennis. Welcome aboard!
